To facilitate people with visual impairments to visit Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) offices, the PMSA has announced that these visitors may choose to complete a record form designed specifically for people with visual impairments with the assistance of PMSA staff, instead of using the LeaveHomeSafe (LHS) mobile app, with effect from 3 December 2021. They also need to present relevant identification document for verification at the request of the staff on-site during registration for seeking exemption from using the LHS mobile app. The staff may verify the contact telephone number by making phone call if necessary.
To tie in with the Government’s anti-epidemic work and to protect the health and safety of the public as well as staff, since November 2021, all PMSA staff and members of the public are required to use the LHS mobile app to scan the venue QR code before entering the PMSA offices, except for people who are aged below 12 or aged 65 or above, and those with disabilities which render the use of the app difficult. The aforementioned measure seeks to facilitate people with visual impairments which render the use of the app difficult to visit PMSA offices.
